I've been having very interesting dreams lately. All involving video games.
One was about some game where you like sled surf across a desert at extreme speeds. And you fly off hills and hang in the air for a few seconds.
There was also a part where I started going too fast and slipping around trying to regain control, which lead to a clipping issue which sent my body flying backwards off the map and you see the terrain is this big 3D rectangle floating in a skybox. And my body was jittering from going so fast before I just despawned.
Another dream I had was some game where you play as a Seagull, similar to how you control a seagull in Wind Waker but you can go anywhere.
The environment was just a big empty green field and the ground was like cloth with patches.
There was no music, just windy noises.
You fly around, you activate a switch or something, it plays a jingle and shows you a target that appeared in the sky and then you fly to the target.
Another dream was like Mario 64 but it quickly turned into like B3313 type stuff.
I'd be going through bizarre levels and hub areas trying to get somewhere, like to a star or something but would mess up in one way or another and then somehow end up in a completely different level or hub area.
This one part in particular I remember is I was in some kind of garden. I hit a block and then a white box with the number 3 on all sides falls out.
When I pick it up, suddenly a metal clone of me appears. I throw the box and then the number changes to 2. But then my metal clone picks up the box and I punch him to make him drop it. I pick it up, he punches me to make me drop it.
We're both fighting for the box.
I manage to throw it again and get it to 1.
Then I pick it up again before he has a chance to grab it, I run around for a bit trying to avoid him and then I throw it at this brick wall and part of the wall shatters revealing a tunnel and the box slides down the tunnel and explodes.
Then I head into the tunnel with my metal clone chasing me.
The tunnel splits left and right. I go down the right tunnel and up some stairs and my metal clone passes me and then we're in this attic room with 2 dingy beds and the clone jumps onto one bed and instantly lies down.
Then I lie in the other bed which sends me to yet another location.
