HGN-732b Highlander "Black Watch"

The HGN-732b Highlander BattleMech is the Star League Defense Forces Royal Regiment variant of the famed HGN-732 Highlander. Armed with an M-7 Gauss rifle, a Holly-6 SRM rack, a Holly-20 LRM rack, and three Harmon Starclass medium lasers, this machine was among the deadliest in its weight class for its day. Its missile systems were upgraded with the advanced Artemis IV fire control system, enabling tighter clusters of missiles to hit their mark. It was a favored design within the Royal Black Watch Regiment, which guarded the First Lord of the Star League on Terra and met their end early in the Amaris Civil War, in 2766. It was one of two notable BattleMechs used by Elizabeth Hazen, a Major within the Black Watch who survived the war and, many years later, went on to become the founder and first Khan of Clan Jade Falcon.
