Based upon a Terran BattleMech design from nearly 900 years ago, the Timber Wolf MK II OmniMech is a powerful long range fighter in its primary configuration of paired Crystal Core Advanced Gauss rifles, quartet of Falchion Emerald extended range medium lasers, and paired Omega Hurricane long range missile launchers that fire salvos of 10 missiles each. Commissioned during the late years of the Great War, this design acquitted itself well in the Battle of Zebrat, where a company of Timber Wolf MK IIs within the Iron Wind Irregulars mercenary command smashed the defenses of the Thirteenth Farasian Phalanx.Few examples of this fearsome machine remain in service today; the only known active Timber Wolf MK II on Equus is operated by "Ghost Wolf", the commander of their own Ghost Wolf Irregulars mercenary command.
