Absolutely destroyed my previous record! I think I'm getting a good handle on how Metal Sonic works in this game. I also may have a moderate obsession with perfecting this level in particular; even now, I'm looking into a route that implements the speed shoes box in the little elevated tunnel during the third section of the race, since it occurred to me Metal Sonic can reach it. That's a lot of speed for me to try to control, however; I can barely keep Metal on track WITHOUT the speed shoes! But if I can get that to happen, I might be able to shave a few more seconds off the time; sub-1 minute is pretty neat, though! I wonder what the AI Metal Sonic is doing when I'm not looking. Y'know, regardless of whether I'm winning or losing. Does he just like warp-speed to me when I'm making this much progress this quickly? Does he slow down at all when he's significantly ahead? Or is he moving at a fixed rate where he doesn't care at all how well I'm doing? I know he's on a fixed path either way, though. #SonicRoboBlast2 #VideoGames #Platformers #Speedrun #Speedrunning
