It's lovely days like today that really make me appreciate the steps I took to make sure that nopony can take my magic away (because that would be mean and entirely uncalled for). Ponies have tried before, several times, because they think I'm just a pegasus who can't defend herself. But I'm smart, and I have resources, and I know how to protect my magic from those who would try to steal it.
It's also a lovely day to remember the last time that someone showed up in Equestria and started taking ponies' magic away. Twilight Sparkle threw that guy through a mountain. And then he got locked in hell for six seasons. Because taking away people's magic against their will is villain behavior.
