It took ten years of careful refinement and reworks to get myself where I thought I wanted to be, only for Pouncer to slap me in the face with an honestly better design. And I'm glad he did.

My advice is, since most ponies are pretty one-dimensional outside of the mane six, is to take a single trait about yourself that you like and shape an OC around it. It's really hard at times, really took a bit of times until I managed to make an oc that I really like. To create some I use a random color palette website and Pony Town, seems like the easiest way and they end up looking nice ^^
